edit: found the problem i installed warthunder at the c drive and got it pinned there. so im not playing the d30 till it gets fixed. so im stuck at the crappy skin for the p51d5 and the d30 is fucking 13k SL stock. blk files and everything in it, its not showing up in the hangar. installed them in the right folder, 6 or 7 skins for my p51d5. I took these screenshots in case you can spot if I'm doing something wrong user skins not showing up. After starting the game the skins wouldn't show up. Anyways I don't know if that's the cause of the skins not shwing up but I felt it was useful information. tga files alone, not inside a folder, so I proceeded to create one for each of them. Most of the downloads came only with the. To solve it: open the unzipped file, copy the picture(s) in it, save them in a new Folder, or better directly in that user-skins Folder (AppData/Local/WarThunder/UserSkins (or UserSights)) I downloaded some user skins in wt live. Just put the files into the UserSkins folder in your main WT folder Urmm try to extract that file to war thunder user skins work fine for me.
I made a test skin for the Spitfire mkIIb, but it in the correct folder, checked it, the blk is still in there, did everything, but in War Thunder, when i choose the skin, it just shows the default. If it doesn't work at all, it's usually because custom skins can lose support with newer versions of the game. Adding custom skins can be glitchy sometimes where you have to use the refresh button or save/exit/return to the customization screen to see them. Works fine for me, put the yak-7b_snow_leopard file in the UserSkins folder you made and it should work.
